=P Its funny and 4 wounds but he is i think 186 points lol....
Lets see Base Stats S5 T5 W4, (the ones that are being talked about that it), but he is stupid for T6 and LD 8 so i say worth it...
Bigname for 10points that is +1 T, then a great weapon that is +3 not +2 and does something like if the thing doesn't have an I characteristic then it auto hits and does d6 wounds with like 4 attacks....thats 30 points. This weapon also give me a another edge because i attack, my WS to the enemies I, so WS5 against most things with WS3-5, on the norm that is.
So with upgrades and weapons im S8 T6 but still.
=P Goin' to be Fun on a Bun!

Four wounds for a hero actually makes sense if you consider normal ogres have three. That's why the doombull should have had at least five being a lord character, and you should be able to buff him out like that. That only being able to use magic weapons thing is bunk.

Yeah so Doc where are we going to post these warbands, part of Shellendrak is only like 20 days away? And yeah i decided that a 5+ ward save is better then +1T and stupidity.

By the way, some of you will be pleased to know that I've decided to allow a single model from special choices in the 200 point Shellendrak's Revenge scenario. After that, for the main Shellendrak game, (which I think will be 300 points) you can bring more models from special choices depending on how many victory points you scored in the first scenario. I'll have a some formula worked out for that - I have to figure out how many total victory points there will be to get in that game. Also as I said, players will be building their 300 point Return to Shellendrak band using their 200 pt Shellendrak's Revenge band as a base, so basically adding 100 points or so to the existing band. Plus, I had the fiendish idea of making players roll on the dread Mordheim Injury table for members of their band that were put out of action in the first scenario. Just to keep things interesting ;D

Question: How does magic work in the skirmish games? I was planning on painting up my mounted sorcerer (so I could use him in the minigame on Monday as well as this) but I'm not sure how you're going to wanna work magic Dr. C. Could determine which magic items and stuff I give him.

Ok I wanted to get on here for a bit before dinner and post an update, since I realized this will be coming up fairly soon after I get back. I wanted as many people to be able to play as possible, and for the most part, that worked out since only two people posted conflicts. That's the good news. The bad news is that none of the possible dates for the main game are going to work for both of them, since A-Bob can't do Sundays and Bri can only do Sunday the 7th. Since A-Bob was able to play in the last big Shellendrak game and Brian had a conflict and was not able to do it, I'm going to do it on the 7th so he will be able to play this time around. Fortunately, there are two scenarios and two skirmish games, so it looks like everyone should be able to play in at least one of them and most will be able to do both. So the smaller Shellendrak's Revenge scenario will take place on Friday, June 5th at Hobbytown, and Return to Shellendrak will be on Sunday, June 7th at a location TBD. (Evan, can you check and see if the fire house near you is available on that day and what the rate is?) When I get back, I'll start making the arrangements for getting Bennet's Park in Bethel to do our Ordo picnic/start of the map campaign I'm almost done with the complete rules for the first scenario. (wrote them this morning sitting under a palm tree by the pool ;D )Most of the skirmish rules are the same from the last game - it's just the scenario stuff that I really had to write. I'll post it up here in the next couple days. That has the magic rules in it Bri, but basically one or two spells from the normal lore that are toned down for use in Skirmish game.
