Bob you should get those models painted before this event, it would be a pleasant surprise to see well painted models from everyone participating.

OK, I haven't gotten to take a look at the warbands in a bit. I know a few people have gotten tripped up with the magic item cap, since it's only 25 points rather than the normal 50 for hero characters (and armies like vamps normally can take 50 points each of stuff from two different lists). Basically my reason for it was to discourage people from putting all their eggs in one basket <cou-189pointogre-gh> Something to keep in mind is that the two hundred point warbands for the first game carry over and form the basis of the warband for the larger game, and models that are put out of action in the first game will have to survive a roll on the dread Mordheim injury roll chart, so there is a chance that models may not make it to the next game, and I know from experience from playing chaos warbands in Mordheim campaigns that when your possessed model that costs more than the rest of your band combined bites the dust in the first game and then you botch the injury chart roll, you're totally hosed going forward. I'm just going to go through the list now based on the people's most recent submissions. Dante - You're ogre seems to have a lot of stuff. I know Ogre Kingdoms is the only monster-race book I don't have (need to correct that at some point ;-) ) and so am not familiar with. Do they get a special section of "Ogre items" in addition to their magic item list? I specifically mentioned the Gifts of Chaos and Vampiric bloodline powers as counting for the 25 points because I have those books and so was aware of them, but basically anything that has it's own section (ie: not directly under the unit's profile in the army list section) should count towards the 25 point cap. That's my bad for not checking on books I wasn't familiar with. (as long as we're on the subject, what's the deal with Dwarves and Lizardmen? Dwarves have a special rune section - or at least I think they do - and I don't know if Lizardmen get any special stuff. If someone could let me know about that, that would be great) So just check on the stuff for your ogre - as long as it's listed right under the profile along with the various non-magical equipment. Bob - as long as the Crown of Horns is 25 points or less (and I'm pretty sure it is) you're all set Eric - I'm not familiar with the Lizardmen codex at all, but if the Burning Blade and Maiming Shield don't total more than 25 points (or if they're not both from the magic items list), then you're good to go. Brian - You're all set. Snapple - You're good to go. A-Bob - Icon bearer counts as a standard bearer, and we're not using standards, since they have no effect in the skirmish game. You can use him if you want, but I discourage it because it's wasted points since the battle standard thing is factored into his points cost. I'm guessing you're using him so you can put him in a chariot (I know the liches don't have the option) but unless he's a whole lot more expensive than the icon bearer, I would go with the tomb prince - you'll get more bang for your buck. And for the magic items, just make sure they don't total more than 25 points. And we still need lists from the following people: G, Rod, Arlin, James, Nick, & Evan

The Crown is 30 points, plus the Chaos Armour is 10. I guess I'm stuck with naked beasts that die when looked at cross-eyed. Now I'm going to have to revise the list after spending the weekend painting up my warband I don't know when this 25 point thing happened, but I wasn't aware of it until today. I really don't want to have to revise my warband and do more painting...I already painted a number of models I'm only going to be using in this scenario!

Great, now I've made the doombull cry Oh allright I'll lift the 25 point cap on magic stuff. I wasn't trying to limit you guys, I was really just trying to make sure no-one got stuck in a situation where they put too much points into one model and then got unlucky with die rolls and lost it early in the game. But the only one I was really worried about was Dante's ogre at almost 200 points - everyone else did a good job of spreading their points around - so Bob, Eric, and Chris - you guys are good with those armies you submitted. A-Bob if you want to redo it again and give him those items you put in there before, that's fine, or else the new list you submitted just now works. And Dante, I would strongly encourage debuffing the ogre slightly and bringing in more gnoblars.

And I'm looking forward to seeing the herd Bob - from what I know of your painting I'm sure they look great.

25 point limit is only towards magic items right, normal ones (like flails and stuff) don't count correct? I may revise mine. I dunno, I should start painting though.

I lifted the 25 point cap on magic stuff - your list was fine anyway though, Bri.

Yeah, but I may revise it anyways I really wish I could fit both Exalted Champions in at 200 points, oh well. I may dumb down the one I have because he's pretty expensive as is.
