Oh yeah, the second one is very good! That's over 100 figures for less than $30! I'd like to see some pics, of course...they're kind of a 'starter level', so probably not a lot of variation in poses, etc. Still, a decent price for folks that might be interested in putting together a small force to paint and participate! I wish I'd seen that 30% off deal before I ordered all my French!

I misread it, I thought the number at the bottom was the price in pounds, not the number of troops. Those are damn cheap! I am going to see if I can find some pics anywhere, I might finish off my army with a few of those.

Yeah, I'm waiting to see what nappy armies other folks are buying, then I'm going to get a small Allied force from an unused country to use in 'demo' games...I figured for $60 I can have plenty for demo, and have some fun painting something different...as long as they have nice hats!

OK, so I read the shipping info and they're a bit less of a good deal. International shipping is 40%, unless you spend at least 90 pounds, then it's free. Also international shipping takes up to 8 weeks, so as long as you're willing to wait up to 2 months and spend 90 pounds it's a good deal.

Sounds like we need to do a combined order then!

So...at current rates that's right about $150. I guess I need to figure out what kind of Napoleonic army I want to make so we can get a group order in. Either Brits or Prussians seem to be how I'm currently swinging. Tough call.

I got in some JR Miniatures stuff from ebay today...barn, church, and some stone walls. I have not been brave enough to try assembling the paper terrain yet...I don't know why, but I'm horribly intimidated by it! If anyone else has ordered anything recently, and is struggling to be patient, I just learned that one of the largest North American Wargame Conventions (Cold Wars) just ended, most of the fig makers were there, so haven't been filling orders. A very different culture we're in to now!

Hey Bob, I ordered them from litko.net. They have a ton of hobby supplies. They're 3mm plywood 25x25mm. Order arrived in 4 or 5 days.

Grady, what website? Old Glory miniatures are available from multiple vendors, curious what price you found for yours.
