Lots of greens and rust, putrid dead flesh, that sort of thing, pale, yellow eyes most likely. I think red would look stunning, but wouldn't fit the theme as well as might look a little Christmasie.

Zombie update. Here is a few more of the poor DV cultists. This poor guy lost his hands in the conversion. This guy, while still a WIP, lost his legs. And this guy, well he won't have much luck keeping food down.

A crawling zombie would be cool and thematic. Maybe a zombie holding his own head, like the Legend of Sleepy Hollow?

A zombie rising out of the ground where he was buried. That's a classic Night of the Living Dead moment. Oooh! I'd love a really gory zombie who's kneeling down eating some poor victim... blood and gore all over the place. A zombie holding his own severed arm and brandishing it as a weapon? This is fun.

The plastic zombie sprue does have an arm that is holding a leg as a weapon.

What if you had a cultist on the ground, and something was coming out of the cultist's corpse? That'd look pretty epic.

Have one sitting down, head tilted back with a hollowed out head held up to its lips. Like a soup bowl. He's the zombie with a little bit of memory of what it used to be like to eat normal. ;D

How about a nurgling eating it's way out of a plague-zombie's torso?

I like what bob said. Perhaps if you put that with what I said, a corpse of a cultist with a nurgling or two crawling out.
Perhaps you can also have two cultists fused together?

Maybe also throw in some puke...they're not just zombies, they're sick zombies!

I don't know if they're going to be the same size as the other LoTR models, but if they are, the goblins are probably going to be a little on the small side.

Yeah, the LotR range is intentionally not to scale with Warhammer/40k, they're a bit smaller... and those Goblins will be on the small side for the LotR range. We'll see, I plan on getting the box set... I'm not sure how I feel about the art direction of the new movie (or the quality of the GW sculpts) but I know I'll probably love it after the movie you can check mine out for comparison.

Too many of those boxes are way too expensive. I'm not usually super critical at GW (it's easy to tack a jab here or there) but those three troll and goblin walkway are two expensive twice over. At half price they'd be about right. Really sad too, I wanted to use those goblin walkways on my CSM display board.
