I think I've gotten enough feedback from people about the two week turns to see that you all think it's a good idea, so I just updated the summary post. The deadline for Turn 11 orders is now Saturday the 28th, and people have until then to get the battles scheduled and played (which includes another two Hobbytown nights)

Busy busy busy I'm starting to develop a conspiracy theory that people in the campaign are working out their vacation plans around getting you to fight their battles. I think you've done more battles in the campaign as the High Elves than Evan has, and you'll be doing more fighting as Brian's chaos than he has so far!

Things started grim for the Greenskins, when the magic of Gork pushed the Black Orc Warboss in to a fight on turn 1...resulting in the death of the General and his mount. The greenskins struggle to not run away at every turn, but in to their midst strode the giant, who knocked aside the mighty Grave Guard with a few swipes of his club, killing Dretchen in the bargain! A great evening and a great battle, thanks to Mike and Marge for a wonderful time!

Lord Horrificus's horde charged into the Village of the Holy Cross. Wave after wave of Warriors of Chaos took by storm the village and its recently freed inhabitants. The Duke lead a mighty defense. Severely outnumbered, the Bretonnians put up a fight and defended the Village in the Name of the Lady.
It was a FABULOUS game! I had a great time (thanks ,Dr C!) it was a very big challenge. Lord Horrificus came in with a 600 point advantage over my Brets. 3050 pts versus 2450. At the end, a MARGINAL VICTORY for WoC, with only 589 point difference!
WHAT WENT AS EXPECTED: 1. my very poor rolling. 2. my Knights failing to catch fleeing units (pursuing 1 or 2 inches short!) 3. Fat Bertha DOING NOTHING for the first two turns, then being broken by turn 3! 4. my Grail Knights plowing through the Chaos Knight without leaving them with option to fight back. 5. No real damage from Lord Horrificus's magic! 6. A super fun game!!
WHAT WAS UNEXPECTED. 1. THE HELLCANNON !! although it only killed 3 bowmen by firing, it then charged into a unit of Knights Errant with devastating force. This thing is also a MONSTER!!! 2. THE AWESOME conversion that Dr C did for one of his Characters, actually modeling his Avatar (Conde Decapitado), with his floating decapitated head and all !!! 3. I didn't think I would end loosing by Marginal Victory. I thought I was going to be massacred! but by the end, I had my most expensive units alive and that made the difference! Only my General, BSB and the Grail Knights (minus one!) survived all the way to turn 6.
OVERALL? a. An awesome time, as expected b. Marginal Victory to WoC c. oh! and the traditional Bretonnian battle-wine!
Thanks again , Dr C! Cheers!!
