I finally stopped by Gamer's Gambit last night for their 40k night. There was about 7-8 40k players there. most of them were engaged in a mini-apocalpyse thing that looked like fun if that's your gig. I've spoken with store owner and the table-top gaming guy and both are interested in starting a 'grow league' and working towards developing a tournament scene.
Most of the guys agreed to bring 1k point lists for 1v1 games next Thursday, if anyone wants to stop by I don't think there will be much trouble finding a game.

I stopped by there last night myself and purchased a wet palate because after watching Tim's painting videos apparently i am paiting incorrectly =P
Gamer's Gambit is right by my house in Bethel. Depending on the time I can stop by for some 40k action. I'd love to help establish a stronger local 40k scene.
I have my IG and depending how much i play again I was thinking of reviving my 2nd edition orks for shits and giggles. I have a ton of old extremely rare models. Some of which i may need to ebay (Gobsmasha, Spleenrippa, etc). Im just a slow painter and the thought of doing another hoard army scares me since I havent even finished painting my IG or terrain. I have a feeling however that assault will be making a small comeback this edition. it might be just the next few armies are the most assault oriented armies in 40k as well. Orks in fast opentopped transports w lots of cover saves, Blood angels, Dark Eldar, space wolves, but I think we will see 7th edition is going to be fun again.

What time do people usually show up there? I believe the night "officially" starts around 6, but I'm gonna try to show up around 530ish... hopefully. Last time a few people used the big tables to play war machine so I'd like to show up early enough to avoid that. Last time I showed up a little after 7 and the only other warhammer people didn't show up until 745.
