I can do the 29th, but not the 22nd. I would also need to borrow an army...and learn the game...both things I'm happy to do, since the system looks cool. If I get a turn of good luck, I may have money to buy into the system.

Yeah, from talking to people last weekend it sounded like the 29th was better. We would be using the expanded Missions. The quick reference sheet can be found here. The last 2 pages of the FAQ (New Tricks for Old Dogs) summarize the differences between Team Yankee and Flames of War. I would be happy to do demos for anyone interested.

If, and it's a big if, I got into this, it would be with the Brits or Germans. How does the points system work in relation to a starter box - do I need to add more to it?
I heard the table size is smaller, which I don't like the sound of. Why is this?
Are there other armies for other nations coming out?

SO Far its Soviets, Afghantsy, US, Brits, West Germans They are also coming out with Soviet Bloc stuff, and I imagine French eventually Points are 100 as a standard. The starter box will require some additions to field a full army, but not a ton. If you're fielding some of the NATO elite forces like the Germans, you won't need a ton of models.

I heard the table size is smaller, which I don't like the sound of. Why is this? Are there other armies for other nations coming out? Standard game is 100 points. Nato starter boxes come with 5 tanks and 2 helicopters. US - 47 points West Germans - 63 points British - 30 - 35 points for tanks and I forget what the helicopters cost. Soviet starter boxes come with 9 tanks and 2 helicopters. Soviet - 44 points, which can be upgraded to 46 THE TABLE IS THE SAME SIZE FOR TEAM YANKEE, but because of the range and accuracy of the weapons, it will feel a little smaller because you don't have to move halfway across the table before you can get a shot. Forces listed on the map in the book that I expect to see: France Belgium & The Netherlands Czechoslovakia East Germany Poland

Can you put me down for Germans Kevin? Also, what do you have in terms of equipment? I'll try to make a list from whatever you've got.

Well, I don't have a whole lot built at this point. Unfortunately, I don't know that I'll have extra models, but king tigers are about the size of the tanks, panthers are about the size of the troop transports. Infantry comes in the form of medium base riflemen and small base milan missiles which could be proxied with piat teams. Helicopters, Artillery, and Planes are troublesome...
What I have assembled:
Soviet - 5 T-72s 1 Hind
US - 2 VADs 2 M901 Hammerheads 2 Cobras 2M109s
Germans - 3 Leopard 2s 1 Leopard 1 1 Gepard 4 PAH Anti-Tank Helicopters 3 Redeyes 6 Panzermorsers 2 Panzergrenadier Zugs (platoons including transports)

Is there a list builder for team yankee online yet? or is it books all the way? Also, if you're going Germans for this, I can take one of the others, I can do Soviets for this run. It had been my intention to give them a try anyhow.
