yes... Missionary would work, but I also thought of that (and that). As for the Scroll Keeper, yes, my original idea was to have the Secretary also play that role, but I noticed I thought faster than I typed.
In going through some old documents, I found one dated Sept 12, 2007. Our original Goal statement (when Rod and I started our distribution):
"Our goal is to create a friendly atmosphere for hobbyists in the Greater Danbury area to meet other fellow hobbyists, to have fun while engaging in competitive, challenging battles, painting their miniatures, and in general, participating and sharing their passion for the Warhammer hobby."
(sigh!)
Cheers!

Ok guys, time to start wrapping this discussion up. Final RevisionIve taken a bunch of peoples ideas and mixed them together and thats what I came up with . The major change is in the creation of committees. Everyone liked the idea of honorary positions, but I could not find any way to make them democratically fair. So instead we will have committees. Each committee will be tasked with helping run different aspects of our club, this way every member can take a positive effect on our environment! Over the next two days I'd like people to go over this and give me any final feedback. Then on friday I will open a poll and allow people to offically vote to adopt the bylaws! Thanks everyone! Eric

Thanks once again for all the hard work you've put into this Eric! I don't like the idea of the committees personally. I just think it's unnecessarily cumbersome for a gaming club, since in a casual environment, the more people that need to coordinate, the trickier it gets. For instance with the map campaign at the beginning I couldn't even get e-mails from more than 10 of 15 people on a given week, but the smaller it's been getting in the past months the easier it's been to get everyone on one page. But that's just my two pennies.

-Perhaps adding another level to the hierarchy would be beneficial? A space between officers and normal members, to help "keep the peace".... people who aren't officers, but should command a bit of authority in the club. Even if it's just to make quick rules calls, say which piece of terrain goes where, or remind people to be kind and courteous when playing games... I know I'm being kinda vague, I hope you understand what my intentions are It's just an idea, of course. Yeah, we could call them Inqusitors! LoL ;D ;D
