Hmpf... would either of you two be opposed to doing me and Rod's two battles (the Barrow Hills fight and the other fight) in an "all-or-nothing" game? It's gonna be tough for me to swing enough time to get all three games in otherwise... I really am lacking time :\ School's starting to pick up for me with midterms right after the holiday break, and after midterms AP's are right around the corner... so putting all the eggs in one basket is the best thing for me here. Rod, this Sunday should be okay. Get in touch with me ASAP though so we can actually plan it all out this time

I actually would prefer the battles be played individually. Bob and Arlin have played a combined 35 (!!!) battles in this campaign with their armies, so if they want to combine several battles at this point I'm all for it, but as campaign organizer I'm a little conflicted about how few battles the three current campaign leaders have played or won compared to two of the three people at the bottom. For instance, you're the front runner and have played the least amount of games of the remaining six, and Bob has won as many battles with your army as you have. Arlin is dead last (and close to elimination) and has won more campaign battles than you, me, and Evan combined. Basically I just want to make sure things are as fair as they can be. I know that with the map aspect, playing and winning battles isn't directly involved with how one does in the campaign (otherwise Darth Bob would be beating all of us ) but I do want to make sure that in the case that someone does happen to go through the campaign without getting into many battles, that we are at least resolve all of the ones that do come up. On the other hand, I know that people have lives and that this time of year is particulary busy for everyone. I'll have to think on this and see what the best solution might be. I may just drag this turn out through the holiday season, since people have limited time and we've got limited space at Hobbytown this month anyway.

I understand the conflict, and it makes perfect sense. I feel like I'm cheating the system, considering how I've played so few battles yet am doing so well (though, metagame is my thing... that's how I won Ekstrafar too A little good planning goes a long way...). So, I can understand you being a little hesistant. However, I also know that if I wind up playing out all the games I have/will have if I continue, something's going to have to give :\ I don't have the time anymore, I didn't expect this to carry into the school year as much as it has when I first signed up. If I'd known it would be going this long, I probably wouldn't have joined in (just like the 40k league). I just can't scrounge up the time to get enough games in, in a timely fashion... I don't want to slow down the ENTIRE campaign because of my crappy schedule. At this point I'm contemplating dropping out entirely... :\ I don't want to, but it seems like no matter how I work this I'm hurting the campaign as a whole. And that's not really fair to everyone else.

For the time being, I've decided to extend Turn 17 until after the holidays, so the three battles that need to be done can be resolved, as this is a tricky time right now to get battles in between the weather and the holiday stuff and the limited space at Hobbytown during the Christmas shopping season. After that, we'll be going back to strict one and two week turns (depending on the number of battles) and I will be enforcing auto-forfeits for battles that are not resolved by end of turn deadlines.

Me and Rod resolved both of our battles today. I won the battle at territory 12, in a massacre for the forces of Chaos! Rod won the second battle at territory 11, in an epic Giant showdown
