Jason and Eric are not going to get their fifth games in this week, sadly, and Matt can't make it for Saturday's event.
So Dr. C came up with a good plan for Saturday:
If nobody objects, we'll proceed with this plan.
I'm hoping we'll have 5 tables set up. The 1st-4th place games will take up two of them, leaving room for lots of gamers! Anyone that comes can participate, even if you weren't involved in the League...just bring your army and roll some dice!
Store opens at 10am, we'll do setup as quickly as we can and start the festivities!

I'm not going to be there either way... stupid Marching Band. But that does sound like a fine solution to me too, I hope you guys all have fun!

I was actually going by win percentage when I did that, since all games had not been played yet.
Sean 4-0-0 Dr C 3-0-1 Bob 3-1-1 Eric 3-1-0
So you and I would have the two highest records and would play the two lowest, and then as you pointed out, in a normal playoff situation, you with the highest score would play the lowest score, but since Bob and Eric have the same amount of wins and same amount of losses (I think Bob's draw washes, since it makes his win percentage lower but also makes his loss percentage lower - they could calculate it differently though) I just did the match that would allow everyone to play someone that they had not yet played in the league, though I suppose technically you could go next to head to head, in which case it would give Bob the better record.
If we went by the points system I would want to include the potential range for the final unplayed game, since I did have my game with Eric scheduled on two different occasions and he had to cancel both times (through no fault of his own, I'll point out - work comes first, sadly) So in that scenario you would still be at the top with a possible total of 41-50 Then me with 36-45 And again Eric and Bob would be fairly dead even with 36 and 32-40
That would also be how it worked out if you just gave everyone a draw for the unplayed games.
Sean 45 Dr C 40 Eric 36 Bob 36
So the long and short of it is basically that no-one wants to get stuck having to play Bob ;D
Kidding aside, knowing this was going to be my last hurrah with the club for a while and that Eric and I hadn't gotten to play each other in over a year, I was wanting to try and get that one in and when I was looking at the league records, they seemed to justify setting it up like that, so I went with it, but it can be the other way around if you guys want.

I sadly will be working so won't be able to come cheer on you boys. Not that it matters a tremendous amount but I will not get my 5th game in against Dante either.
It has been fun and I look forward to continuing to game with you guys.
Oh yeah, go Ogres! =P
