Game 1: Total War Warsaw Pact attacking Hamburg (North) from Schwerin Warsaw Pact:99 points of East Germans 3 Formations of T-72Ms 100 points of Soviets 1 Formation of Afgantsy 1 Formation of T-64s NATO:? points of US 1 Formation of Abrams ? points of US 1 Formation of Infantry The Table: The starting deployment: The first afgantsy unit landed on the west side of the river and next turn unloaded into the buildings to contest the North Central objective. The T-72Ms got slaughtered on the train bridges, but held the attention of the Abrams long enough for the hinds to come to the Southwest corner and unload on the tanks. One T-72M formation broke quickly. The VADS moved South to counter the hinds, which moved east and continued to fire on the Abrams until the formation broke. Over the next few turns, the hinds took a beating, killing only 1 Abrams before the Afgantsy broke. The T-64s took a beating and broke a few turns after the Afgantsy, but not before 2 more Abrams tanks were destroyed. For the next several turns, T-72Ms maneuvered around the Southwest part of the table, but accomplished very little, while the artillery and formation HQs put on a last ditch effort to hold the Northeast. When time ran out, few T-72Ms remained with gophers, carnations, and rocket launchers, while the US infantry remained largely unharmed. The final score was 36-22 Warsaw Pact. Thanks to everyone who came down. I hope everyone had a good time.

I will get a copy of the rules to the store next week. Basically, you either pick a mission, or the defender picks to counter attack (encounter and mobile battle missions) or put up a static defense (mobile or defensive missions) and rolls on the table. The attacker is the player who chose the territory to attack (Warsaw Pact games 1-5, Warsaw Pact on 3+ games 6-10, and Warsaw Pact on a 4+ games 11-15). If the attacker wins, they capture the territory (and an adjacent if Warsaw Pact). If the defender wins, there's a chance to capture the attacker's territory (based on defensive strategy: 4+ for counterattack and 6 for static defense).

If everyone involved could, please register and post reports to the global campaign. I have created a club profile for us - don't forget to join. If we get picked for prizes, you don't want to miss out.
