What are people aiming for list sizes? Just curious to what the standard will be around the club. Smaller right now while people gather the models for list but as time goes on what is the average going to be.
I am currently looking at 35-50 point lists being built as this seems reasonable but doesn't let me take all the toys.

Tim, Standard size is usually 35 points for your average pick-up game. 50 points is the level for high end games (notably this is the size being used in the games at adepticon).
With people trying to learn the game, 15 points is a really good size. Allows you to use most of the rule-set and start learning some unit synergies without being overwhelmed. Even at 25 points games can get a little wacky/long. . .
Look forward to seeing your trolls on the table!

I figured for learning the game building a 15-25 point list would be the best way to go. Maybe it's the Warhammer player in me that wants a bigger army.
All I'll say is I am working on getting a 50 point list together eventually... ;D

Haha Tim dont worry Im all for bigger is better as well. I really liked the 35pt tourney we went to better then 15-25 pts. I feel as long as you put a clock on games and play with objectives the bigger points arent too much of a deterrent, once youve done a little practice with the rules that is.
And Im all for trying out some 50 pt games once youre ready!
What I think is cool about this game is that no matter how I expand the list size from 15-35-50 I find myself making different lists trying to fit in new things I think are cool.... so far no list size is letting me play every toy I think is cool which is awesome. I think even playing at 100pts Id find myself wishing I had more points.
