Karchev The Terrible -5
Juggernaut 7 Destroyer 9
Great Bears 5
Koldun Lord 2 Kodiak 8 Man-O-War Kovnik 3 Berserker 6
Im not sure weather or not its important to say before a game what Jacks your "Jack Marshals" are controlling but I wrote it into this list, because I wanted to see if anyone does not agree with the idea of putting a Berserker with a Jack Marshal. My reason for doing this for those who dont know is so that the Berserker's "Unstable" rule doesnt come into play during the game.
Also Putting the Kodiak on the Koldun works fine as the Kodiak can run/charge without spending focus and the Koldun can allocate 1 Focus to any jack. Another note on the Koldun is he can take disruption off any jack. Makes him a nice little thing to have to break a plan and help a 5 focus warcaster control 4 Jacks a bit better.

Berserkers are definitely viable candidate for jack marshals -- you don't want to pit them up against other heavy jacks, and stuff they'd require a lot of focus to kill. But the Berserker has two attacks base (with the option for the chain attack) which means he'll do well with the Kovnik. Avoiding unstable is always a plus, as well.
A note on the Kodiak -- it can run without focus, but it still needs focus to charge. With some casters that have special movement spells/feats it's not a big deal if you jack marshaled him, but with Karchev I could forsee problems. I think you'd be better off putting the Destroyer onto the Koldun Lord. Odds are, it won't need too much focus since you'll be blasting away Southerners most of the time -- it isn't a focus hungry jack. The Kodiak isn't focus hungry either, but will benefit from extra focus more I believe -- to boost it's hit rolls to get the chain attack, or if it gets a promising charge off against an enemy warcaster. If you bind the Kodiak and Juggernaut to Karchev that takes a bit of a focus strain off of him, but if necessary he can still beef up either of your main melee hitters. In addition, if the Koldun Lord is tagging along with the Destroyer then he can stay further back and won't have to worry about getting *too* close to the fighting if you don't want him to. He has a few special abilities that work well with a "protector" jack anyways.
Lots of heavy metal right here! Super high infantry armies may present problems, and assassination armies can be a big threat -- with so few models we don't have access to a lot of board control, so nasty solos have an easier time moving around. Karchev needs to be in the thick of it anyways to do well, so be wary when facing an enemy army that's pretty heavy on the assassination.

Yeah I realized the Kodiak cant charge, and it makes more sense to swap the Koldun's bond with the destroyer, and I knew I would have issues with assassination runs with this army but I think being a jack himself Karchev being assisted by his two jacks all the time can keep himself rather safe. Plus hes too cool of a guy for me to at least not own so if all doesnt go well I can try another warcaster.

Exactly -- learn with Karchev, have fun with him! If you like him, you can make him work... so far the only caster I've seen people outright dismiss is Zerkova. 5 focus will be rough to learn on, but you'll be much better at focus management later on because of it. If you feel inclined to switch it up later on, simply grab a new warcaster and try it out. I knew I'd wanted to play Vlad, but after seeing Strakhov's model/picture I really liked him. His rules are solid too, so I'm trying to adopt him as my primary warcaster now!
I think the Kodiak/Destroyer swap is a much better bet.

Haha along with the Greatbears and my Kovnik order I put out a few days ago I said why not and bought Strakhov because I love the model, so very much the typical anime leader with his goggles on his forehead and not actually wearing them, not sure if he will see the light of day the battle field from me for a while but his model looks like a ton of fun to paint in my red/white paint scheme.

List A
Kommander Strakhov (+6)
Torch 10 Kodiak 8 Devistator 9
Man-O-War Kovnik 3 Widow Makers 4 Assault Kommandos 5 Battle Mechaniks 2
Alright Strakov's roll in this list is a little odd, since he is only around to boost movement on the Kodiak and Devastator, and his feat is nice too (+4" too anyone who charges/slams this turn in his control area) Also he can throw a bit of Stealth on the widow makers making them that much more annoying. Then being able to use the kodiak to throw the Devastator without being able to harm it as the STR and ARM difference is 25 allows the Devastator to get stuck into enemies bogging them down and launching its deadly grenades really early.
List B
Kommander Sorcha (+5)
Juggernaut 7 Kodiak 8 Devistator 9
Battle Mechaniks 2 Assault Kommandos 5 Great Bears 5 Widow Makers 4
This list I like a lot because it allows for a quick assassination if the other player brings the caster too far forward. And if the jacks move too far forward you can easily with the power of Khador jacks break down most if not all the other players jacks because of her feat (Freezing people in place is a nice touch) and with this list the Devastator is more prone to being tossed to the side of the enemy's lines to run in for an assassination.
