I was working on putting together this logo for the summer campaign last night (today I think I'm going to get the DCTotM stuff together) so that we can have a page on the new Ordo site for the campaign where we will eventually have the new map each turn posted, people's armies, turn recaps, army lists, etc. What do you guys think? I'm going to work on a write up during lunch break so that we can have a little introduction and description of the campaign and post it here. Also I'd like to use this thread to get a complete list of who is playing and what army, and eventually the initial army lists. Also to bounce around any other ideas for the campaign.

I like it, that effect of the images behind the Title gives it something of a mistery

Nice, I like the image! Glad we have access to your cool scenery and terrain stuff for this, it should be a lot of fun.
I certainly wish to participate, and will be using my Warriors of Chaos...

I just added a poll to this thread (which I should have spellchecked - I know I'm going to get comments on the upcoming campagin ) Anyway the poll is to try and find what date works best for everyone for the opening session of the campaign, which everyone playing in it will have to attend, because we will be choosing HQ territories on the map and playing through a number of game turns (basically we're going to keep playing through turns until two banners encounter one another, which won't happen until at least turn 3) Basically I want to start the campaign sometime between May 30th and June 20th. I didn't include any Mondays because I know those can be difficult for people who live a ways to get to, and also we want to have as much time as we can get. So basically it comes down to two Fridays or four Saturdays. The Saturdays obviously would require us to find a venue. We could do someone's residence (I know mine would work in a pinch) or try and rent a space. For the first game players would want to bring a few of their models (ones on small bases) to represent their various banners on the map. The two Shellendrak games (the mini Hobbytown one and the big one that would require a bigger space) would most likely be taking place in the week or two before the first campaign session. Once I get an idea of the date the campaign start will be, I'll do another poll for possible dates for Shellendrak.

Something that I tried to put into the title of the poll but I guess it got cut off is this: If you know that you CANNOT make it on one or more of the days listed, please post it to this thread
Basically I'm going to choose the day that I know everyone can make it on, even if it doesn't get the most votes. If there are no conflicts, I'll go with the one people most want to do it on.

Memorial Day weekend and the first weekend in June are both bad times for me. I should be good other times, if not I'll make time for it Keep me posted for Shellendrak too, so I can get that on the calendar ASAP.

Mid June sounds good for me as well. If all else fails I could probably persuade the boss of the house to let us host the event. I dont have a lot of living space, but being in a condo complex parking would atleast not be an issue.

Ah yes, the 13th... That would be appropriate Fire house, you say? I should have thought of that myself - I know there are a couple in the area that rent out space. Let us know what they charge. That might be a good venue for big games like Apocolypse or Shellendrak.

Being a "retired" firefighter, i can say that firehouses in the danbury area are kind of hit or miss for renting space. It is possible though, I can't remember how much the rates where when I was a member.
