Date: 5/20 Place: Vassal Victor: Brian (sionnach19) Loser: Tom (aetios)
Tom and I got a last minute game in tonight -- played a zone scenario. He coordinated a tricky turn to try and take out Behemoth, but the Seether couldn't pull off the strength check needed to cripple it... Butcher popped feat, Behemoth wrecked the Seether, and I realized I was in range of Scaverous. Two mega boosted pow14 shots later, there was a smoking crater where the Lich Lord used to be.
Butcher picked up for Vlad's slack last week!

awesome battle Mike!, it looks like you had to go all the way down to the last dice roll, although technically and since both casters died then you both lost I'll post the turn results tomorrow But Rod, I was looking at the rules and I read this "Destroy your opponent's warcasters to win the game!" privateerpress.com/files/WarmachineMKII%20Quick%20Start%20Rules%20Front.pdf I DID kill my opponents warcaster, so that means I won right? I did kill my opponents, but my opponent didn't kill mine, I killed mine... technically... why the hell didn't I just camp the focus on vlad D:

Thanks again for the last minute game Brian! One of these days I'll actually pull off a throw on a model! You're right though, next time I should just try to beat down Big B and cripple systems, not try to get all fancy. I think I'm going to forgo running the tier list at 35 and go with something that has a better hitting/survival chance like we talked about.

last minute post... oops
Date: Saturday 5/19 Winner: Mike Loser: Me Location: Hoyt Scout Camp
well i pulled a stupid and guesstimated my charge range wrong.... so mike killed my two jacks turn two, opps.
However the i discovered combined range attacks, and Reznik is a beast! He single handedly took down Drago, a Juggernaut, two men o'war, and one great bear! then died...
