Turn 4 Summary
Movement Phase
Itzicon Lizardmen
- Itzicon’s main force moves into #95 and takes control of the road that runs east to west. They search for one of the Treasure Well markers but find nothing.
-Itzicon’s second banner holds at his base camp.
Wood Elves of the Forsaken Vale
- Eldorajib of the Silent Arrow sends his secondary force eastward into territory #52 and claims it.
- Eldorajib sends his main force into moves his main force southward into the forested territory #80, which also happens to be the main camp of the Itzicon Lizardmen! Itzicon had kept a banner there to defend his HQ, so a battle will now be fought!
Tracatra Waaagh!
- Tracatra has his army hold in 25 and will attempt to fortify.
- Grotfang Waaagh moves southwest into territory 49, finding one of the fabled Treasure Well markers. He attempts to force march his troops into #48, but is unsuccessful, so ends up in #49.
The Forgotten Legion
- The Forgotten Legion banner backtracks into their HQ territory (#7)
- The Khemri Protectors banner moves southward to the river (#25) and engages Tracatra Waaagh!! A third battle will now be fought there!
The Phantom Tribe
- The Phantom Tribe of the Ogre Kingdoms moves an army eastward from their basecamp into #127, claiming it for the ogres.
- Their more northern force meanwhile moves northeast into the forested region of 117, taking the undefended territory from the High Elves!
Los Temerarios
-Now that they have fortified their position in the ruins of Pont-a-Condemne, Los Temerarios continue to hold there and await the inevitable attack of the approaching undead force.
- Los Lobos hold position at the gates of Hellfurnace, gathering their hardiest of men for an expedition to drive purge the evil chaos dwarves from their mountain fortress.
El Duque Azul
- El Duque orders Scelus Scelaris to siege Pont-a-Condemne from the south, moving in from #123! A battle must now be fought there!
- Meanwhile, Amor Sanguinis attempts to move into #145, but are thwarted by the mountainous terrain and are forced to hold in #146.
-Nunquam Dormio moves into #138, taking the undefended territory from the Raiding Party of Kemrit. They search for one of the fabled Treasure Well markers but find nothing.
The Mushroom Monguls
- One Mushroom Monguls moves into territory 111, claiming it for the greenskin horde.
- The other banner moves into territory 112, claiming it as well. They look for treasure well markers but find nothing.
The Raiding Party of Kemrit
- The tomb kings move a banner to 139, taking control of it. They search the area for treasure well markers, but find none.
- The other tomb king army holds at their headquarters in territory of 149.
The Army of Lord Horrificus
- At the Rotfeast Monolith, Lord Horrificus receives 200 pts of troops for his army towards their next battle (bit of business from last turn). They then march forward into territory #2, claiming it. They search for treasure well markers but find nothing.
- Dycedarg’s army moves south from Blackbark Ridge into the road going from north to south, taking control of territory 28 from Itzicon’s lizardmen.
High Elves
- The High Elf force in territory 131 holds there and will attempt to fortify.
- The other High Elf army moves into territory 105 and claims it. They search for well markers but find nothing.
Qxaltza-Aun’s Warhost- Qxaltza-Aun moves his main force into 131, engaging the High Elf army there! The fourth battle this turn!
- The other lizardman force holds in 117 and manages to find a Treasure Well marker there!
The Knights of Sildavia
- Duke G moves his army westward along the road and takes the bridge at 29.
- St. Michael’s Angels to the north also march westward to the banks of the river, taking territory 5. They search for treasure well markers but find nothing.
The Sons of Thunder
- Continuing to march southward toward Castle Phagius, Munnin’s Flock moves into the mountains of territory 74, taming the treacherous landscape and now one step closer to their goal.
- Huggin’s flock meanwhile moves westward and claims territory #8, putting them on the frontier of the Duke’s lands. They search for hidden treasure well markers but find none.
Battles Phase
El Duque Azul’s Scelus Scelaris defeats Los Temerarios at Pont-a-Condemne (108)
-Scelus Scelaris takes control of the city and gains 200 points toward their next battle from that territory's special rules.
-Los Temerarios retreat back to the river (93)
The High Elves defeat Qxaltza-Aun’s Warhost at territory 131
-The battle was fought online on Lorenzo with Bob helming the High Elves in Shas'o Evan's absence.
- The lizardman army retreats back to 143
Los Temerarios drive the Chaos Dwarves from Hellfurnace
-Arleen successfully completed the special skirmish game and unlocked the forges of Hellfurnace for use by whoever controls the territory
Apothecary Bob aborted his invasion of Territory 31
-The Khemri Protectors banner retreats back to 24.
The battle between Eldorajib of the Silent Arrow (David) against Itzicon’s Lizardmen (Nick) at Itzicon’s HQ (80) was not resolved.
-The battle will carry over into Turn 5
-Due to benifits from army type and fortification bonuses, the lizardmen will be fielding 2450 and the wood elves 2350.
