Okay, sorry I’m just getting the full turn summary up here. To compensate, I’m extending the deadline for turn orders this week to 5PM Sunday, July 26th. (I’m sure I’ll see most of you at the tournament on Saturday anyway, and will get as many orders from people as I can)
Turn Summary[/u]
Movement Phase[/u]
Leinhart’s Undead Host
- Locke the Talking Banner returns to Leinhart’s basecamp at territory 3.
- Banner # 2 moves southeast into map section 4, encountering the Knights of Sildavia who have also marched into the region. Now they must battle!
Knights of Sildavia
- Naming the new Brettonian settlement in map section 5 “Saint Cosme” and thereby renaming the river “Saint Cosme’s River”, they march westward into territory #4, where they must now battle Leinhart’s troops who are also attempting to annex the area.
- Saint Michael’s Angels have also begun a settlement to the south near the bridge in map section 29, which they have called Saint Ruben’s, after the famous Bretonnian priest. Having done this, they move northward to the river at territory #28, taking it from Lord Horrificus.
-The Inquisitors banner moves westward to territory 20. They search the area and find one of the legendary Treasure Well markers!
Sons of Thunder
- Munnin’s Flock begins their siege of Castle Phagius (territory 87)
- Huggin’s Flock moves into map section 40, claiming it for the forces of chaos.
- Asator’s Flock moves into the Gallows Crossroad at map section 22
- The Sons of the Allfeather move into map section 11 and search for Treasure Well markers but find none.
Forgotten Legion
- The Forgotten Legion remains at their fortified headquarters in territory 14
- The Khemri Protectors move south from the road into territory 43, claiming it for the Tomb Kings.
Tracatra Waaagh!!!
- Tracatra’s Waaagh moves south into territory 45, taking that section of the river for the greenskins. They attempt to force march into 44 but are unsuccessful.
- Grotfang’s Waaagh moves into the bridge at map section 31 and holds position there. They search for Treasure Well markers but find none.
- Ghazpa Waaagh moves south from the Orc basecamp into map section 65, claiming that section of dense forest for the greenskins. They attempt to force march into 78 but are unsuccessful.
Sir Rosteldorrf’s Armies
- Los Temerarios holds their position at Hellfurnace
- Los Lobos move into Mushroom Mongul territory in map section 110, where they encounter El Duque Azul’s Nunquam Dormio in battle!
Mushroom Monguls
- Having fought the Empire to a draw at Hellfurnace, and forced to return to their headquarters to regroup, Banner #1 moves north into territory 113.
- Banner #2 moves west into map section 112
- Banner #3 moves south into map section 125. They search for Treasure Well markers but find nothing.
Raiding Party of Kemrit
- Banner #1 moves north into map section 139.
- Banner #2 moves north into map section 38, taking that territory from El Duque Azul
El Duque Azul
- Scelus Scelaris moves westward into map section 96, taking control of Skullcrusher Pass, though navigating the treacherous terrain costs them 50 points worth of troops from the next battle that banner engages in.
- Nunquam Dormio moves into map section 110, where they engage Los Lobos in battle!
- Amor Sanguinis attempts to move into map section 135 but the undead are unable to navigate the mountains and must hold in map section 45.
- Veneficus Facio Vita moves northward into map section 122, claiming it for El Duque Azul
High Elves
- Banner #1 moves into map section 128, claiming the territory for the High Elves.
- Banner #2 takes back territory 116 from the Ogres of the Phantom Tribe.
Army of Lord Horrificus
-Lord Horrificus orders his army to hold position in the fortified map section 2
- The daemon Dycedarg attempt to move his force into Blood Swamp but the forces of chaos are bogged down by the mire and are forced to hold their position in territory 53
- Vellious moves his force southward into map section 34, claiming the land for Lord Horrificus. While searching the area, his minions manage to find one of the legendary Treasure Well markers.
Battles Phase
1. Munnin’s Flock (Brian) wrests control of Castle Phagius (87) from the Acolytes of Phagius (played by Dr. C). The Sons of Thunder now control the territory.
2. Nunquam Dormio (Bob) gains a narrow victory over Los Lobos (Arlin) and takes map section 110 from the Mushroom Monguls (Mike). Los Lobos retreat back to 93.
3. Leinhart’s Banner #2 (Chris) Vs. The Knights of Sildavia (Duke G) for control of map section 4.
- Chris’ undead will receive support from the banner at their HQ territory, so will have an extra 200 points for this battle.
End of Turn Phase
The following armies will receive additional banners at their HQ territory:
-The Forgotten Legion gains a third banner. Since the HQ is occupied by another banner, this banner will be placed at either map section 24 or 13 (A-Bob’s choice)
-El Duque Azul gains a fifth banner at their HQ territory of 46
- The High Elves gain a third banner at their HQ at 130
The following armies LOSE a banner due to loss of territory
- Having gone down to five territories, the Mushroom Monguls will lose one of their three banners in the End of Turn phase (Mike’s choice)
