So the stage was set.
I had an air purifyer set up in my office.... All my cleaning materials prepared.... My entire office cleaned... A boxed area to prevent paint from getting on walls or the desk... All my models lined up and ready to go....
and then I figured out...
I didn't have the correct reciever piece to connect the tubing from the airbrush to the compressor.
I tried taping it shut, but the material the hose to the brush is made of too flexible a material, and I can't do it. The air leaks out too fast and the compressor kicks in once its been running for only a minute.
I felt I'd share my defeat. I was so excited to have airbrushed german tanks....and now, they will be grey assembled garbage.
Apologies to all involved.

Been there. Ordered my airbrush, forgot to order the hose (didnt know it didn't come with one). Then when I got my new compressor I did have the right adapter (both ends were male, and it turns out a female to female bit is hard to find).
It's hard, but life will go on. Hang tough brother!

Airbrush be damned! here some of the Brits I finished working on yesterday. The dull coat sure works wonders. First, Universal Carriers with observers in them (hence the radio antennae) Next UNiversal Carriers with Piat and hull MG's 3. Jeeps decked out with MG's just because I thought it looked funny! 4. 3 White scout cars (the bulk of vehicles for the pioneer Armored car support platoons. 5. 4 more cromwells + 1 more firefly Model Count...updated

Really nice looking stuff. Must be difficult traversing the dense terrain of the pink jungle!
