Possible Blood Bowl event in April

They haven't released the calandar for 2012 yet for the tech school I'm going to be attending, but according to the 2011 calandar it looks like I'll have a week off from classes in April and I'm thinking of coming up to visit and if I do, I'd really like to put on some kind of event for you guys at the new store, since I always had fun doing the Shellendrak games for all of you.
I've been trying the past few days to think of something I can do that would not take a lot of set-up (since I'd only be in town for a limited time and would want to have time to visit and hang out with as many people as I could)
I was thinking I'd most likely be bringing Malifaux stuff to run some demos for everyone, but I also did want to have some sort of tournament and people don't know the Malifaux system enough or have the models.
So I came up with Blood Bowl, which has a rulebook that can be downloaded for free (from Games Workshop's site no-less. I was shocked too, believe me) and teams can be pretty much cobbled together from all sorts of minis (last week I had gone through my old models and converted four teams worth of players in just a few hours)
I thought about it yesterday some and this is what a Blood Bowl event would probably look like.
The central event would be a bracket elimination tournament with 8 players (or 16 if enough people were interested)
In the second round, all those eliminated would play one another.
In the third round, the 1-1 players would play those who were eliminated in the second round, and so on.
First place would be the person who wins the tournament, with second being the player he beats in the final round.
Third and fourth place would be determined by the final win/loss records, with points for/points against totals being the tiebreaker for teams with the same number of wins.
In addition to 1st through 4th place, there would be a prize for best sportsmanship, and for best team appearance (and while I may decide to play, I would be excluding myself from the team appearance category)
For models I would keep it fairly simple. Depending on the team, you can get away with anywhere from 8 to 15 models.
I have about five teams that I'm working on right now, so I would probably be able to accomodate up to 5 players who wanted to play but don't think they would be able to get their own team together by then. The game boards themselves are small and wouldn't be a problem to whip up.
Here's the link to the rulebook on GW's site. The various teams start on page 71. Players would have 1,000,000 coins to make their team with.

So let me know if you have any suggestions/comments, and please vote in the poll so I can gauge the interest for this. If there is a good amount, I'll continue working on this idea, and If not, I'll go back to the drawing board and see what other ideas for an event I can come up with.
In any case, I'd be looking forward to getting to see everyone again!

- Models from any 28mm line (including clix) may be used, so long as weapons/shields are removed
- Three color paint job required
- One color must be used in all models in a team to tie them together
