Of course I'm excited for the new SM codex, but also trying to figure out what is the Grav-gun and what brings to the game, Anybody care to do a preview?

It's a great anti AP weapon. Basically it gets rid of an armor save while at the same time wounding on the same value as the armor save, so wounds marines on a 3+, termies on a 2+. There are variations (cannon = blast etc).

Roll to wound is on the target's armor save, not the Str-Tough comparison.
Is AP2.
Causes a Glancing hit on a 6 to any armor, and Immobilizes also.
Like the other weapons, there are different 'sizes'. I believe the biggest is 36" salvo 3/5, taken on a new Centurion bubblebutt guy, who is relentless, the unit is dishing out 15 of those shots.
This weapon will excel at dealing with the "large critters" we've seen in the last several updates (wraithknights, riptides, broadsides, dread knights) and be pretty amazing at Marine-killing also.
I think the sexy combo will be pairing him with an allied Tau Commander, who will give the unit Rerolls to Hit, Monster Hunter/Tank Hunter, Ignore Cover, Hit and Run, and a T5 2+ body to absorb wounds. Potentially really gross!
