What I'm kicking around for the Warmachine event at the end of the month...
Points: 50/50
Forward Kommander Sorscha (*6pts)
* Conquest (19pts)
* Sylys Wyshnalyrr, the Seeker (2pts)
Battle Mechaniks (Leader and 3 Grunts) (2pts)
Greylord Outriders (Leader and 2 Grunts) (6pts)
Iron Fang Pikemen (Leader and 9 Grunts) (8pts)
* Black Dragon Officer & Standard (2pts)
Lady Aiyana & Master Holt (4pts)
Winter Guard Infantry (Leader and 9 Grunts) (6pts)
* Winter Guard Infantry Officer & Standard (2pts)
Harlan Versh (2pts)
Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich (2pts)
Reinholdt, Gobber Speculator (1pts)
I haven't played eSorscha in a bit, but she's still my old standby. I like the Conquest with her a lot, and I like the combo with Sylys/Reinholdt to help her cast her spells more confidently/with less risk (though, I'll have to remember to do the order of activations right!). Conquest and Pikemen are there to break armor, while the Outriders and WGI can casually pull whole infantry units off the table. It projects lots of threat and can attrition pretty well. This is my match up preference for more infantry oriented factions (other Khador, Cryx).
Points: 50/50
Kommander Zoktavir, The Butcher Unleashed (*4pts)
* Beast-09 (11pts)
* War dog (1pts)
Cylena Raefyll & Nyss Hunters (Cylena and 9 Grunts) (10pts)
* Koldun Kapitan Valachev (2pts)
Doom Reavers (Leader and 5 Grunts) (6pts)
Great Bears of Gallowswood (5pts)
Kayazy Eliminators (Leader and Grunt) (3pts)
Widowmakers (Leader and 3 Grunts) (4pts)
Eiryss, Angel of Retribution (3pts)
Madelyn Corbeau, Ordic Courtesan (2pts)
Man-o-war Drakhun (without dismount) (4pts)
Ogrun Bokur (3pts)
Butcher is a lot harder to build an army for, because he presents little in the way of army support! I like the Nyss for shooting, and I like the Great Bears as another serious threat. Not sure that I can screen Butcher well enough, which might make a case for a Greylord Ternion to lay down some clouds. I kind of threw a few models in to make the points, but the core of the list looks like this:

Not sure what to spend that last 12 points on, that would be well worth it. I want this to tackle hordes (it wrecks beasts, and even trolls with lots of infantry don't want to face off against Silence of Death); and the tougher WM gunlines (Cygnar, Menoth?). Not sure how to do that, with little exposure/practice against those lists though. So maybe I'm better off just keeping it a bit more well rounded and go into each round and try to gauge which caster will handle my enemy's the best.
