Hello guys and gals. Here is my latest HobbyTimmy video where I show you how I go about feathering, specifically the armour plates on my Trygon. Enjoy. =D
Edit 1/7/14 11:14pm: I just finished uploading it so I may take some time before it is optimized for HD.

Thanks Tim! For some reason I thought you were getting that effect with the airbrush - is that what fading is? It's amazing how clueless I still am about the terminology and painting theory after 25 years of doing these things. I was kind of doing that basic idea with a lot of my stuff but not with the decreasing brush sizes and final white highlight. I also paint from the pot but I'm going to try to set up a wet palette like you have sometime in the next week and see if I can't transition myself to it (at least when I'm working at home. Lately I've been doing most of my painting on my lunch break at work, but maybe I'll come up with a system where I can set it up and pack it away again for transport that doesn't eat away too much time. I can keep a small Tupperware wet palette in my locker with the lid on and give it a rinse at the end of each week, but that would require me finding my locker key which has been eluding me for the past month Also what were the make and models of the brushes again? I'd like to invest in a couple at least to use at home when I'm painting.
