Hey gang, thinking about acquiring an airbrush as it seems like a very useful tool for painting larger models/getting stuff done at a faster pace, I wondering if anyone has some suggestions for which airbrush to get? Also wondering about paints, I'd need the colors to match with GW paints, khorne red in particular for my Word Bearers chaos marines.

I love my Grex Airbrush. Make sure its a dual action one regardless of the brand. It lets you control air and paintflow simultaneously.
don't skimp on the compressor. And one designed for a hobby is much better than the honkers at Home depot, which are terrible. I hope Tim will weigh in, as he is the master of all he surveys when it comes to this stuff.
Taimya paints are good, but if you are willing to thin your GW paints a bit they should run through the brush just fine.
After each use, clean it, backwash it, take it apart and rinse it, and flood alcohol through it as the last thing in the line. It evaporates and gets the last little bit of paint with it.

An Iwata Eclipse is a great airbrush. A Badger Patriot I won at Battle for Salvation last year and has been great as well. I don't know enough about the Grex line but anything dual action should be good.
Additionally you want a decent airbrush compressor. Its a little more than a cheapie from Home Depot but your ears will thank you.
As for paints I'd strongly suggest getting airbrush paints. Thinning paints, while an option, takes so much more time and you have to do it a lot to get the consistency right, and each color will thin differently. Vallejo and Badger make great paints. Vallejo calls them Air, and Badger calls them minitair. I have the complete line of Minitair paint. They aren't a perfect match to GW, but GW had 70 colors, changed to another 160 a few years ago and even those colors don't match perfectly. I use a color close to the khorne red in the minitair line called angelic blood (I think) for my blood angels as a base coat. If you get a brush and want to try some paints remind me and I'll bring them in some time.

Also, get the tools to clean it and an airbrush cleaning pot is a must! Learn to take it apart and clean it thoroughly, easy to do, and kinda fun.
