After picking up the Most Wanted box I now find myself with 6 Z-95's. I placed pretty poorly in a rebel swarm list that I took to a tournament in the fall but I don't think I am ready to give up on it just yet. I flew 4 Z's and 2 A-wings, but the list really lacked any teeth, and what would happen was in the first joust I would be ahead, then just wouldn't have enough to deal with agility 3 ships. I was thinking of something like this for fun.
Z-95 Tala w/ assault missiles
Z-95 Tala w/ assault missiles
Z-95 Tala w/ assault missiles
Z-95 Bandit w/ assault missiles
Z-95 Bandit w/ assault missiles
z-95 Bandit
~100.
Any thoughts on something like this? Anyone out there ever try so many rebel ships? I think ordnance in general is under appreciated in x-wing, and having 5 assault missiles in a list I think can prepare me for swarm or large ship shenanigans. I know I'll have problems with interceptors and arc dodgers but I think if I can spread my net wide enough I can catch one with a missile. Thoughts?

I have not used any swarm, as I feel they are not as powerful as they used to be. With all the new stuff that has come out in the last few waves they have lost their edge. I also do not favor consumable secondary weapons, though with wave VII coming out, that could change, but I'm not entirely sure. I think the list could be fun, though. I have been trying out new things, favoring arc-dodging and highly maneuverable fighters. Mangler cannons get the job done pretty well, too. There are many possibilities, and no idea seems to be too obsurd as long as you are willing to compromise a little. That being said, perhaps cut quantity a little to get a little quality mixed in. Lieutenant Blount can use his missile's effect, even without any hits going through, which can be quite nice when you hit a swarm with an assault missile, or throw an ion missile into a ship. Maybe a little diversity in your weapon selection can improve your versatility while still only using Z-95s.
