That would be awesome! Do you have all the little flags that go with it?

I have 2 questions, how are we doing allies, and can I use a Houres Heresy army codex?

You won't be cannon fodder all the dead bodies will be slowly digested in pools of acid! No biggy I'm planning super fluffy narrative armies that die in spectacular fashion like only guard can do. Then have some genetically engineered ball less space marines come save us In proper guard fashion.

I'm pondering whether it's worth getting some Harlequins for my Eldar - buying a whole codex just to get the rules for one or two units seems excessive to me, especially if I don't know how good they are.
Forget tank tops and power armor - in the grim darkness of the far future there are only clown costumes!

I'd say go for it if you would have fun painting and playing a close combat type unit for your eldar.

All I have to say is that mortal flesh is nothing, the only true warriors are the warriors who never die... Everything else is absolete

I have 2 questions, how are we doing allies, and can I use a Houres Heresy army codex? I have 2 answers... Allies are going to be imperium vs. alien Menace (Eldar + Orks will still fight at some points, as will the IF + IG) vs. Nids since they don't bond with anything... at all.... ever.... Since this is a fairly recent thing in the imperium, I would say to just use normal armies. You can use miniatures or armies from the horus Heresy but just not the rules to avoid confusion. If whoever you play doesn't mind you playing with it then it's fine but I'm not obligated to make the decision for everyone. If they're ok with it, I am. I am hoping to start the campain sometime around/after Christmas. We will need one day before we start playing to discuss territories and availability. Kevin, if you can make it in on the day we meet with the planetary empires or before and put it with the terrain or something so we can use it that would be great. Thanks to everyone playing and I hope to see y'all there! Tell me which dates will work for you within the next couple weeks so we can work that out.

Also I am pretty sure that the Houres heresy uses the same rules as 40k, but I don't have my rule book yet so I don't know.

Forget tank tops and power armor - in the grim darkness of the far future there are only clown costumes! No need to buy the codex, it's easy to find online. Saves yourself some money on starting a Harlequinn collection. Horus Heresy uses a different force organization chart (extra elite and HQ), and uses 6th edition rules for scoring (just troops and certain units), however you don't have to use those rules, you're more than welcome to use the Legion Astartes Crusade army list using 40k FOC. There's also more variety of vehicles, and a bunch of war gear not available in 40k space marine armies like volkite guns, but it's still pretty similar. I'm a big fan of the 30k lists, I'm actually almost done building my Night Lords army for Horus Heresy.

That's really cool. I guess when you get the codex you can check. I guess it's ok but yet again, just ask who you play... If they are incredibly overpowered/underpowered you shouldn't use them to keep things fair...

I don't think I've ever built an overpowered army list in my entire life!
