I think we could set aside an hour or two one Saturday each month and take turns running demos of the games the store carries. Each month we pick a game and post something on the shelves where the game is located saying something like "Learn to Play" and list the date, time, and the web address for the forum.

Thanks for setting this up, Kevin. I love the idea of hosting demo days, and definitely put up signage in the store next to where each game is displayed.
I'm always surprised by the number of people who come into the store while we're playing - they sorta peek in, but they're not quite sure what's going on. What about creating a flyer or something that we could just hand out? We could even pin them up in different places, cafes, libraries etc.

I kwon I haven't be around much but another idea is to bring a friend or colleague type of thing. Maybe for a board game or table game that they may be interested in. Then try to set that day to play and do demos of their interest.
