Why would I need to defend the objectives?

Hey Guys,
Having never played Germans before, and only vaguely aware of the Stormtrooper rule in v3... I'm reading the v4 version of the rule and I'm somewhat confused due to the wording...
"A Unit may attempt a second Movement Order after succeeding in its first Movement Order. The second Movement Order must be different from the first."
OK... I see 5 Movement Orders:
Blitz Move Shoot and Scoot Dig In Follow Me Cross Here
Does this apply across the full turn? For example, can a Unit Blitz, Tactically Move, Fire, then Scoot?
In the Movement step, can a Unit Blitz, Dash, Follow Me? Can they Blitz then Dig In?
Thanks for your help in clarifying
edit- removed a question with an obvious answer =)

I have the same questions..... Rule needs some clarification.....
Looks like you can do a "blitz" move then.... "Shoot and Scoot" or "Dig In"....

It looks like you can only use Scoot in the Assault step and Dig In in the Movement step, per their definitions. Some could interpret that the ST rule overrides the Order definitions, but I personally think they still apply. You get an extra at-bat, but still have to play by the rules sorta thing...

Does this apply across the full turn? For example, can a Unit Blitz, Tactically Move, Fire, then Scoot? In the Movement step, can a Unit Blitz, Dash, Follow Me? Can they Blitz then Dig In? Stormtrooper now can be used at any point during the turn, when your second movement order is applicable. Blitz, Move, Shoot, Scoot - No - Shoot and Scoot is for units that did not move. You could Blitz, Shoot, Scoot. Blitz, Dash, Follow - Yes Blitz, Dig - Yes

Yeah Kevin is right on this one. I played two games yesterday where we realized late that the Germans can't move, then stormtrooper out of the way. Shoot and Scoot is only for teams that DID NOT MOVE. so no tactical for them.
But the other instances Kevin cites are examples of what they can do, which is pretty cool.
Keep in mind...if you FAIL a movement order, you don't get to do a second one. So fail a blitz, and there is no shoot and scoot for you. "after succeeding its first movement order"

If you fail a "Blitz" order... you unit is "Out of Command"..... Your can still move tactical but suffer +1 to hit..... You can "Dash" but it has to be towards your unit leader.....
