oh jeez thats a lot of outflanking genestealers...... gosh the 4x4 tables at club make this list devastating as theres not much chance that a bad outflank roll takes you out of the game. And with 2 lictors to boost your reserves rolling it can be really deadly. Kinda makes me with I had taken my heavy flamers.

A lot of my strategy here was in trying to get my bugs in combat as quickly as possible and reduce the number of opportunites for them to get shot at as much as possible. What it all comes down to is that I know first hand that I can't even make space marine saves, so I'm not even going to delude myself into thinking that I'll be making any nid saves I kept in very little shooting - just the two zoanthropes and the carnifex for tank and transport killing if need be and general anti infantry duties to soften things up a little, though I'm hoping to not have a lot of enemy infantry out there that isn't tied in combat with the rest of my stuff. I've never played nids before, so I guess we'll see how that works out for me.

I've talked you to death on Tyranids Overall I like. Will be super effective on a 4x4, but make sure you know how to play those outflanking stealers on a true 6x4 too. In addition; Scuttlers gives you the scout rule. You can use that to outflank, but sometimes you may almost rather take the extra 6" movement before the game. With lucky fleet rolls, depending on deployment you could actually snag a first turn assault. If you do outflank all your stealers, recognize: Only the two fexes, the Malanthrope, and the Zoey's will be on the table. They're going to attract a hell of a lot of enemy fire, so keep that in mind. It certainly has a competitive edge with all those stealers, but some fun units (Malanthrope and Ripper) too. I like it, I'd gladly play with or against it any day

I like most of the list, the few thinks I don't like are the small sqauds of stealers. if you don't roll so well then they will be dead turn 1 so you are out of troops. maybe get some gaunts in there to hold objectives but it seems solid

mike the stealers are going to outflank so they wont be on the board till at least turn 2 and then they will try to charge people from the flanks.

Okay I used the one list change to change my list for the final two games. Below is the list of changes followed by the revised list itself: - Dropped one zoanthrope and swapped out Warp Blast for Catalyst on the remaining one - Dropped one 8 man genestealer unit down to 6 - Swapped out barbed strangler and venom cannon for a pair of twin linked devourers on the shooty carnifex - Added an 8 man unit of gaunts with toxin sacs, fleshborers, and 'without number' - Added a biovore with bio acid spore mines
Hive Fleet Homonculus
150 Malanthrope
97 Broodlord (Feeder tendrils, Extended Carapace, Adrenal Glands, Toxin Sacs)
162 Genestealers x6 (Scything Talons, Extended Carapace, Toxin Sacs)
111 Carnifex (adrenal glands, scything talons, scything talons, toxin sacs)
160 Lictors x2
152 Genestealers x8 (scuttlers)
152 Genestealers x8 (scuttlers)
114 Genestealers x6 (scuttlers)
88 Gaunts x 8 (fleshborers, toxin sacs, without number)
85 Ripper Swarms x5 (toxin sacs, leaping)
50 Zoanthrope (synapse creature, catalyst)
123 Carnifex (Enhanced Senses, Twin Linked Devourers, Twin Linked Devourers)

Not against my termiy lord with Lightning fingers. tsoalr Honestly, anyone with terminators with heavy flamers can burn through those small units, even the stealers

Those "small units" of stealers are all flanking, so will show up where the heavy flamers are not, or in position to assault them before they fire. I have no idea what "tsoalr" means. I'd like to see you put your army on the table against this.

tsoalr used to mean "Turn Signals on a Land Raider" quite a funny webcomic in its day. Not sure what Angus means by it though. tsoalr.com/
