Plenty of magic, not sure what yours does though but I'm sure it's great. BSB... not sure what half of it does 6 ogres is going to be tough, like always 9 ironguts are going to be tough, I'm not sure of how I intend on killing them myself I like all your specials, they'll let you do stupid deployment stuff, and still go first against me I hate cannons... I like the list, full of all the stuff that I don't like, well played sir, well played.

Slaughter master is WS 10 with 5 attacks, -1 to hit in combat, +1 Str, 6+ AS, 6+ Ward Save
Gut magic is mostly augments: Stubborn +1 Str +1 T 4+ Regen 2D6 Str 2 magic missile, no armor save Template initiative test, fail Str 7, D6 wounds, pass test Str3
The BSB is pretty standard, 3+ Armor save and crown of command (often called crown of stubborn).

I don't know...I ilke the ME blob, but I miss te ironblasters Also miss the poison on the ME. I'd think Scout might get them isolated and beat while outside support range.

Same thoughts bob. I'm nt completely convinced with the scout vs poison, but I have to cut something back to fit a nice unit of maneaters in. I didn't really want them smaller than 6, and I could just barely get 3 leadbelchers in and I think you need 4-6 to really make it with it. With 3 that's an average of 10 shots, 3-4 hits, 2-3 wounds (rounding up).
The scout isn't entirely to completely scout, but to put them down last in a good position. Though with 3 worthless drops I can usually get them in a good position. Choices.

Well, I'll confound you more...while a few more points, brace of handguns is the same melee damage as the xhw, but adds in significant ranged firepower. Then add in poison...

I wish i knew if anything changed =P I refuse to buy the 40 dollar army book so atm looking for a PDF of it haha. Looks cool tho =P. Lots of lord/hero delivery systems, garbage units and a cannon!...
My only question is where is the BSB going with that crown? The 9 guts i assume?

Well, I'll confound you more...while a few more points, brace of handguns is the same melee damage as the xhw, but adds in significant ranged firepower. Then add in poison... Even one pistol counts as a AHW in cc. It's a matter of 2 (AHW), 7 (pistol) or 12 (brace) points per model. I'm paying 54 points per model with HA. 66 points is a lot for two quick to fire handgun shots. With the idea of snipe and poison (throw in a flaming banner) the multiple shots wouldn't do much for me anyway. BS on 3's to hit. -1 long range, -1 snipe, -1 for multiple shots and I'm on 6's to hit. Any additional modifier like cover and I'll be on 7s and poison won't matter. I could drop the maneaters to 4, give them a brace of pistols, poison, snipe and flaming and add a unit of 4 Leadbelchers with musician for the same points (well 3 points less). Again, 304 points for a unit that shoots 8 times seems like a lot. Sniping will net one wound, two if I'm lucky against characters so I guess it's something.

yeah, hitting on 6s...with 6 ME that's 2 wounds...on most hero-level wizards that = dead!
