ok, for what I can read on Internet blogs last night it is going to be EW, which means Japan invading Soviet Union and Mongolia, which could be the start for new edition of EW books. I think this is a very interesting way to open the game to the Pacific theater, I'm guessing that maybe we could also see some French or British lists defending their Pacific Colonies, although I'm not sure if that would be more fitting on MW; either way I'm very curious on this book.

Nice. I'm more interested in Japan in LW. I want to see fortifications and such...
I am curious about the Japanese special rules, as well as the stats on the tanks.

well early war in this case would mostly just involve the Japanese and Chinese. China's army could have a very interesting PDF...
And the early war marines getting their poor behinds handed to them in the Phillipines. But as we progress to the mid and late war sections of the Japanese army, things will have to start to shift quite dramatically. I also see now why they spent some time shoring up their "hit the beach" scenarios, since most of the American part of this is landing on islands and trying to dig out Japanese troops.

I knew about the books, but had a chance to read the previous until now, it's interesting that they created an entire group and two different point systems to field the same Coy in two different theatres (late-war and Pacific)
