Good stuff! I'm finding it maddening to find reliable sources on the 1st-7th CT state regiments that I'm working on. Here's how I have it established so far:
1st CT - Raised in Norwich - Red coats faced white 2nd CT - Raised in Danbury - Dark brown faced white 3rd CT - Raised in Windham and Hartford - Light brown faced red 4th CT - Raised in Hartford - Brown faced red 5th CT - Raised in Danbury - Blue faced scarlet 6th CT - Raised in New Haven - Unknown 7th CT - Raised in New Milford - Scarlet faced white
As you can see, there's a lot of brown and red in this force. I may convert the red and scarlet coats to the standard continental blue, for the sake of optics... Also thinking of brown faced with green for the 6th, considering CT's heavy use of brown cloth and the need for a differentiator from other units (plus it is in line with some painted regiments I've seen in the Rebellion! book).
Thoughts?

Remember the red brown is so you are able to not be seen in the woods we did not fight like the rod coats did we didn't stand and shot out in line formation like the red coat would have liked us to do

The rebellion book spells out the CT regiments pretty well on page 32.
1st Connecticut Red coats with white facings and lining, white waistcoats and breeches. musicians in grey-brown coats faced light brown. 2nd Connecticut Brown coats faced white, with brown waistcoats and breeches. Round hats cocked up on one side. musicians in green coats faced brown. 3rd Connecticut Light brown coats faced red, with red or green lining, green waistcoats and breeches. 4th Connecticut Brown coats faced red, with light brown waistcoats and breeches. Cocked hats with yellow binding. 5th Connecticut Blue coats with red facings and lining. green waistcoats and breeches. musicians in yellow coats faced brown. 6th Connecticut Blue coats faced white, with white waistcoats and breeches. Leather caps. 7th Connecticut Scarlet coats faced white, with white waistcoats. Sailors’ jackets reported in 1779. 8th Connecticut Blue coats faced scarlet and later faced white. Brown waistcoats.
Paint whatever makes you happy. I have been caught up in trying to make everything perfectly accurate too. Ultimately I go for the better look than the accuracy. In the end we are playing a game. Unless you are planning to enter the figures in a contest or play with a group that demands perfect uniforms. As for ordo having the models glued together is usually enough.

Well dang. I saw that when I first went through the book, and completely spaced on it after the fact... Obviously my coffee intake is set too low; Will adjust.
Thanks Randy!
