Howd this list play for you the other night.... and roughly what were you playing against?
The two long fangs squads seem pretty cool. And then a couple drop pods is always nice. Do you drop the grey hunters first or the wolf guard? Squad seems kinda small to survive though.

lol, umm I Played againt Vinnie's guard.... I dropped a grey hunter squad (imobilzed it), and the combi melta squad onto different Leman Russ'... but they all missed. Those 2 guys were pretty much there to kill off a tank early on and they failed (thought they died with honor). I gave em both Pwep, so they could maybe kill a guy or 2 if they survive the drop.
They LF squads did AWSOME, and the Blood Claws never actually saw combat. One squad got wrecked by a leman russ demolisher, while the other took forever to get anywhere near combat (DoW deplayment). My hq, came in the side of the board and charged the imobilized russ, dropped a melta bomb and took out the turret. It then went on to attack a troops choice that was heading for an objective.
My other Dpod came in and messed up his hq squad pretty well. My not so bloody Blood claws actually killed a tank with their terrible melta shots, forcing the passengers to jump out in front of my HQ. The blood claws at that point sat on the objective near them.
We had to call it halfway thorhg the 4th turn, do to time. Though i still had 2 full turn for myself to go. We ended where i had one objective and vinny was at one contested by my long fang (only 1 guy left), though he would have had it by the next turn. The only question for me was, could i grab another before the game was out. possible if i could haul my bloodclaws into actoin in their rhino, fly it around a bend, survive an angry battle cannon and a demo cannon, and then kill the russ contesting the objective... what.... it is possible... hey they are named after MY primarch, so they would miss and then die for me....
We just called the game and opt for the draw.

Oh ok the HQ has the special outflank thingy? Thats pretty spiffy. Oh and I just noticed hes on a thunderwolf that gives him some real range to charge in and cause havoc!
You ended up feeling the pain of a lot of battle tanks too though.... darn them guard.
You might want to pm Eric I think on the results page he listed it as a win/lose between you and vinny.

Why didnt you give all the wolfguard combimeltas? it seems like the powerfist guys have a chance to get shot on the drop without doing anything.

Umm, the pfists are with the Blood claws, so the only the 2 with pwep/combi melta, come down in a drop pod. I mainly made this unit so i had another Dpod for the odd number. and another way to annoy the hell out of my opponents (BANG! tee hee just killed your....)
