I think this may be a little to early to have it set in motion for saturday, however within the next few weeks is not out of the question with how active everyone is being with the rules. The problem with the percentage changes on lords&heros is that many armies are meant to be based off of that set up, I htink the best option would be to ignore changing those, and if you're doing a map campaign, then maybe permit a castle/citadel to give the defending player extra points, maybe around 200. This permits players to keep a fairly concrete list that is not tailored for their opponents before each battle. Also I don't think that each place you own should modify how you may build a list. Maybe make it so that each place GIVES you something new. Maybe for a town, you are given about 300 points for a basic core unit, this unit may only use these free 300 points to be built, nothing from the rest of the list. Pretty much then if I have a town, I can have my 2500 point army, then for a town I get 300 points for a basic core choice, so I can take about 70 goblins if I wanted. Maybe have a special place like this for each location, instead of limiting what people may take. With this set up we can then have a max game size of about 2000 points, and then the location bonuses would bring us to around 2500.

Rare choices are the only thing skaven have going for them. And the 70 points of wizard that I field. Why are these two lores benifiting Who can take them? I know mike and I use army book lores, I think Chaos has its own lores, Vampires have their own. Who does it benifit, and does it give an unfair advantage because only one or two players benifit from it. Pan through the rules for Galactic Empires or whatever it's called, and leech the ideas as directlly as you can from them. So basically, if you play Khorne you get a sick boost, but if you play any other chaos god, your lord, your general can get knocked to T 3 ish? And your giving the lord that thrives on combat a toughness boost? In the case of Deamons, pushing their base champ up to like T4- T5 unless their of slannesh nurgle or slanesh. Basiccally pushing slanesh and tzeench champs down to T2 Allowing a clanrat to chuckle, and completly nullifying the purpose of being Nurgle; for the extra toughness? and their Bloodgourger to T7 or 8 AND an extra wound? if im not mistaken? There are several armies in this campaign that thrive off of those towns, (Beastmen, Bretonians) and several that can avoid towns and be fine (Skaven O&G) Read through Galactic conquest or whatever it's called. It has rules for specific key locations that work very nicly and can be modified to fantesy quite easily. Keep working at it, it's great that you're showing such interest, just balance these key locations.

If I may, I would suggest special rules for every army (even those who aren't campaigning) and change it to last until the end of summer (August-ish). That way, there is a lot more time for people to play, you don't have to have fixed points (people can commit x points to each battle) and it gives other people who have difficulties joining in now a chance to join in before it gets too late.

I agree, but it would be difficult to add in players mid campaign. If someone needs to drop out though someone could take that person's place.

Well if you are progressing each time you win battles might be hard to jump in is all. It's fine though. Grady's idea works. Hope we can get this up and running in a few weeks. I'm leaning towards beastmen at this point.
