Belakors who can summon scoring demon troops in literally *any army* since you can ally come the apocalypse so long as you stand 12" away at deployment. They basically didn't fix any of the major problems from 6th, and just added new ones. Blegh.
The only thing that has me excited is a low model count GK army abusing Santic powers and the million power dice they get from psychic brotherhood. At least I won't have to move a bunch of models around the table while I wait for people to summon 200 demons, and the Paladin Deathstar can stack stupid buffs to be stupid again. No O'vesa makes Riptide spam less horrifying (but still really scary).

Sorry, can't even stack buffs anymore. Blessing rules explicitly say only one application of a given power. Belakor can't summon daemons, though...he gets Telepathy and that's it (by his own rule)

Chaos Demons do seem like the big winners in this update and to a lesser degree CSM as well. With all these demon players I expect lots of grey knight armies and malleus inqusitors/cortez in lists. Having a massive amount of warp dice from grey nights ar enice not jus tbecause of the powers you can cast, but you have many opportunities to just deny the witch.
They are supposedly also pushing a large faq update for all the codices to bring them in line to the new edition. So i would like to see how they errata or faq certain items and abilites. Is the grimore the same etc?.
And i agree invisibility will be broken especially considering you cant use blast or template weapons against those units, you are forced to snap shoot.

and pretty much everyone has access to invisibility, so everyone will have an invisible blob...especially since all allies score, even CTA. Dumb dumb dumb.

On the bright side my IG CCS can take an astropath (telepathy psyker) for 25 points and roll for a power and get psychic shriek as well. It is cheaper then the 50 point primaris (or 75 point ML2), a 55point inquisitor, or 60 point wyrdvane psykers. However i wouldnt follow the psyker table chart that closely because the ONLY psykers with access to telepathy in the astr amilitarum codex is the astropath. wyrdvanes even primaris dont have access to it. And the inqusitor book only has access through the psyker henchman unless the new faqs or errata change it.

Do we know if you generate physic powers the same way you use to? I suspect you do, which means at least with invisibility unless you take a lot of psykers, you only have a decent change of getting invisibility. And on the bright side it's a good counter against armies like Tau who won't be able to blast one unit to bits.
Probably my biggest problem with the powers, if you want to use the malefic powers, you have to go out and buy more models, a nice little scheme I'm sure GW is happy with. However I do like the concept behind those powers..chaos sorcerer summons a greater daemon, it eats his soul.

I don't play as much as I'd like but how different is a psyker summoning a demon game breaking when tyranids and necrons bofh have units that spawn units. I think the only thing I would change on it would be the come the apocalypse rules. If two units on a table hate each other so much they are within 12 in they should take a leadership test or attack the closest unit.
