You can always arrange for a 40k tourney to put a cap on the ongoing campaign? maybe early March?

I'll throw out another suggestion. I never got to participate when we ran this because I wasn't available, but I heard nothing but good things from the people who did. A painting day? or a series of themed events centered around getting stuff painted? Not sure where we'd squeeze it in, but it fits for anyone playing any of the systems we play if we announce it early, and plan it for the fall, we could setup categories for people to enter into. (terrain piece, objective, unit, individual model, etc.)

We could do a painting day any time, though I am hesitant to say close the room for it. Another painting showcase would be fun. I also missed this last time.
We could also do another club picnic day (or a few).

It might even motivate me to get more of these guys painted!

I actually just got a tyranid swarm for christmas so I have quite a bit of painting to do... I really want to do an army painting thing and see how fast I can put a 1000 pt fully painted force on the table.

You can always arrange for a 40k tourney to put a cap on the ongoing campaign? maybe early March? seeing as how many people didnt get to participate in the campaign, I would be down for a good ol' fashion Ordo Ineptus 40k tournament. See, I have more of an excuse of having to come up 45 minutes to game when theres 2 locations within 15 of me that do gaming, as opposed to 2-5 minutes closer, but I am still willing to come up if people want to play. Similarly, I'd love to do another painting day/painting competition. I feel that I am more vocal now than I was last time I ran one, so I won't stutter too bad lol

I can't believe it's June! The year is nearly half over and we've only held a few events.
What is everyone looking to see happen this summer?
FOW - Normandy round 4, or shall we do a Pacific landing?
X-Wing, Armada, Team Yankee, Kings of War, 40K?
Ideas on when to do annual picnic?

The newborn has taken away a lot of my potential gaming time, but I'm hoping in the next few months to get some Armada games in. I've expanded my rebel fleet and am excited to send them to their doom. I also need to get motivated to paint and base my FoW Brits/Canadians. Shane, for sure count me in on a Frostgrave campaign; Maybe later in the Summer.

I would love to visit with everyone at a picnic, I'm anxious to hear when it's scheduled so I can try to clear the schedule a bit!

Sundays are better for me if we wanted to do it in June? did we need to reserve a space? or just show up potluck style?

I'm in for a picnic. Sundays are better for me too. I don't think there was a reservation needed, first come first serve.
