I meant its time for Alayna to start some freehand. Custom Marshmellows on the shoulder pads!

Also I want to see s'more pictures. Heehee, I didn't catch that till the second read. Nice! ;D Of course that would entail Arlin making a chocolate themed space marine chapter and Bob's little Laura making a graham cracker chapter

You know the Mr. Staypuft doll I used to bring to class on exam day for luck actually fits on a dread base.
Just sayin..

Well, I finally manned up and finished the Juggernaut (instead of wasting your time with monotonous WIP pics)... still have to do the base, and maybe matte varnish (being plastic he's not as imperative, but all the metal models will definitely need it). But here's proof that if you hang out with Tim long enough, you become a better painter through osmosis! Tried to go for the glow beneath the faceplate, gave the ice axe a blue sheen, weathered the top of the smoke stacks, did battle damage a la Tim, and tried some freehand (the little things at the edge of the shoulder pads are Khardic runes, though they aren't particularly well done and I'm of half a mind to just get rid of them... the front is "FURY", the back is "HATE"). Let me know what you like and don't like! EDIT: Gah, these pictures are so bad. I'll try to take better ones tomorrow to replace these, when I can get some natural lighting.

Really nice Brian! So what are you thinking of for the bases? Are you going with some kind of a snow theme?

I like the weathering, and the runes. I also like the smokestack that gets dark with soot as you go up the columb, nice touches here Brian. And I also liked marshmellow Space Marine. You should do 2 platoons painted light brown (grahm cracker) one painted dark chocolate, and the rest that blue color. And they deploy them as a sandwich.

Looks really nice all done and together. I like how you didn't go to overtone top with damage. I think the free hand is nice, keep it, it'll score points!
As far as pictures go, especially with an iPhone using an all white backdrop can be tricky because the camera will under expose the image to not over expose the model. Try a darker background if you can find one or turn on HDR if you the option ;D
